Liven up your lunch with this tasty and filling low-fat pizza idea. Great for the whole family to try out. The kids will love it!
1/4 cup low-fat ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 whole wheat pita
6 slices veggie pepperoni
1/4 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons sliced olives
Garlic and Italian seasoning to taste
1 Place unopened pita on a microwave or broiler safe plate. Spread tomato sauce on the pita and top with ricotta cheese. Top with the pepperoni, mushrooms and olives.
2 Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian spices and broil or microwave for 2-4 minutes until bubbly.
3 *Variation - try using your favorite veggies such as green peppers!
