Daikon or Asian radishes are mild-flavored and add a lot of crunch to salads. This slaw is simple and tasty.

1 | Gently squeeze out some but not all the liquid from the radish. Place in a salad bowl. |
2 | Add the carrot, 1/2 tsp of sugar, oil, and lemon juice and toss. |
3 | Season with salt and add more sugar, if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. |
