Feel like you're in a rut in the sandwich department? This recipe will add a little variety and pizzazz to your lunch time routine!
Ingredients:
4 ounces lump crab meat, drained (fresh or imitation can be used too!)
1 tablespoon low-fat mayo
1 celery stalk, diced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Creole seasoning to taste (if desired)
Black pepper to taste
Shredded Purple Cabbage
1 whole wheat pita, cut in half
Directions:
1 Mix crab meat, mayo, celery, lemon juice and spices together. Stuff equal amounts of crab salad into pita halves along with shredded cabbage.
2 Serve fresh fruit.
3 ENJOY!
