Why settle for ordinary grilled cheese? This sandwich will will become a family favorite in no time.
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon light mayo
1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese
2 slices whole wheat bread
2 oz sliced lean smoked ham
1 oz light Swiss cheese
2 slices tomato
Directions:
1 Combine mustard, mayo and Parmesan in a small bowl.
2 Spread mustard mixture over bread. Layer with ham, cheese and tomato. Coat both sides of bread with cooking spray.
3 Cook in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, about 3 minutes each side or until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
4 **To lower sodium, use low sodium ham.**
5 ENJOY!
