So simple yet elegant - you would never guess asparagus could taste so great with so few ingredients!

1 | Place asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 5 minutes or until bright green and tender. |
2 | Rinse asparagus under cold water and drain thoroughly. Combine oil and lemon juice in a bowl. |
3 | Pour over asparagus. Season with pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature if desired. |
