It's like a salad tucked into a pita! Complete with bright colors, crunch and great taste. Go veggie today!
Ingredients:
1 whole wheat pita pocket, cut in half
1/2 cup baby spinach leaves
1/4 cup sliced carrots
2 tablespoons diced celery
1 small tomato, diced
1/4 cup lower sodium garbanzo beans
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
Garlic powder and Ms. Dash to taste
Directions:
1 Toss lettuce, carrots, celery, tomato, beans, oil and balsamic vinegar in a medium bowl.
2 Stuff pita with salad and season to taste. Enjoy right away or brown bag it for later!
3 ENJOY!
