About Me:  I am a single mom with three (paying) jobs. I've been divorced almost ten years. I love to cook - one of the reasons for my weight gain downfall. Trying new things is always fun - finding time to do that is always a challenge! I enlist the help of my son and remind him that we have to work as a team since it's just the two of us. When I'm not working, we like to go to different places. We occasionally travel north to Washington to visit his paternal family, or south to California to visit my family. Road trips are always a blast and we like to pack our picnic basket full of healthy goodies to enjoy when we "stop to smell the flowers" on any of our journeys. When the season is right, we enjoy visiting the central Oregon coast and splashing on the beach, or playing in the sand. We just try to have fun no matter where we are and in spite of the fact that he's 7, we usually do!

About Me:  I am 44 years old and mother of 3, grandmother of 1. Have been struggling with my weight for about 12 years now. Lots of yoyo dieting. I have some health problems that make exercise difficult at times, and that is frustrating. I am optimistic that I can and will lose weight. Would love to get to know positive, motivated people who want to share feedback. I am losing weight at diet.com and I am at my halfway point.

About Me:  I'm not a nutritionist. I was just obese for 20 years. Worse of all my cholesterol level was at 288 at the age of 25. And because of my family history of heart attacks, I went on 4 years of yo-yo dieting and finally developed my own 5 Color Belts' Eating Formulas to take my weight and cholesterol down naturally. I was a study challenged student until I met my wife Linna. Now, I'm a full-time author of Mind Your Own Wellness - Turning Thoughts Into Reality. I've never thought of becoming author for my entire life. I actually started writing this book just as a reminder to myself to stay my healthiest and best for my wife and my 2 children. It was on September 1st of 2006 that changed my life. I recevied the worst call in my life - I lost my dear father also to a sudden massive heart attack. This did it. It drove me to complete the book. I hope that all of us could live our healthiest and best for ourselves and our loved ones. Best Wishes, Alex Ong
